Big Rock
Our eponymous Big Rock (also called the Okotoks Erratic and named by the Blackfoot as Okotok) is a stunningly huge erratic boulder that lies on an otherwise flat prairie location just off Highway 7 about 10 km away.

Millarville Farmers’ Market
In the summer you can spend a lazy Saturday wandering through this huge outdoor market with dozens of local vendors selling produce, arts & crafts, and prepared food – located just 25 km away. Throughout the year, the facilities also host horse races, a rodeo, a Christmas market and so much more.
Saskatoon Farm
Just a quick trip out of town (11 km) you’ll find the quaint Saskatoon Farm. Exuding all the charm of main street in an old pioneer town, this working farm includes a restaurant, bakery, garden centre, produce market and a general store full of country & western goods and eclectic knickknacks.
Rotary Performing Arts Centre
Located just around the corner from the Royal Duke Hotel, the Rotary Performing Arts Centre supports local entertainers and provides several events throughout the year.
Okotoks Museum & Archives
Take a quick 6 minute walk and step back in time by visiting the Okotoks Museum & Archives. Located in the stately 1905 Heritage House it’s devoted to preserving artifacts and archival resources and celebrating the stories of Okotoks’ past.
Okotoks Art Gallery at the Station
Next door to the Okotoks Museum & Archives is the Okotoks Art Gallery located inside the historic 1929 CPR Railway Station. The gallery features an ever changing display of professional and member contemporary and historical art exhibitions.
Okotoks Recreation Centre
The Okotoks Recreation Centre is a multi-use facility that includes indoor pools, hot tub and sauna, fitness studio, ice arenas, curling rink, a child-minding service, youth centre and more!
Baseball – Okotoks Dawgs
Our Okotoks Dawgs participate in the Western Major Baseball League playing out of the Seaman Stadium.
Hockey – Okotoks Oilers
The Okotoks Oilers are our Junior A hockey team playing out of the Pason Centennial Arena.
